Children's Museum of Atlanta
The Children's Museum of Atlanta offers kids the chance to learn through play with hands-on exploration & discovery that sparks imagination & inspires learning.
Tellus Science Museum
The Tellus Science Museum is a world-class science museum featuring four galleries, a digital planetarium, a solar house and so much more. With a planetarium show in the Bentley Planetarium and four shows that rotate throughout the day, there’s always something new to see. There's even a Fossil Dig and Gem Panning areas where kids can take home a fossil and a bag of gems as keepsakes. The museum has a Quiet Room for when a visitor needs sensory relief.
Chuck E. Cheese
Chuck E. Cheese offers Sensory Sensitive Sundays. They open 2 hours early on the first Sunday of every month, specifically for children with autism and other special needs. There’s reduced lighting and noise, food and games, and trained and caring staff.

AMC Theater
The Autism Society and AMC have partnered up to present special movie showings when the lights are turned up and the sound is turned down so you can move around, sing, dance, or shout. This is offered every month, on the second and fourth Saturdays (family-friendly) and Wednesday evenings (adult audiences). For precise showtimes, please check the theater listings in your area.
